THE FACILITIES

Our building is a purpose-built post-modern structure with an external glass facade. The School has 60 classrooms on campus. Every classroom has a public address system, display and writing boards, lockers for students, custom made furniture, and a provision for broadband Internet connection, multimedia support .Every classroom in school as well as other enclosed spaces are air-conditioned to ensure that your children learn in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

AUDIO VISUAL CLASSROOMS

We are the first group of educational institutions to employ Audio Visual Digital Classroom Systems. All class rooms and other learning spaces have a LED TV/ Smart Classes that is used by teachers for presentation of rich-media learning materials & real-time annotation.

MULTIPURPOSE AUDITORIUM

The school has a new multi-purpose space at the heart of the school, the Centre for Performing Arts. Fitted with a state-of the art sound system , the room has become the focal point for performing arts within the school. The lighting is used by students for the new drama courses within the school and the light and airy venue is also used for presentations, meetings, rehearsals and assemblies. Many ex-students have visited the room and expressed envy, that they missed out on having such an exciting space during their years at the school! The current students really enjoy using the room, especially the lights, which add an extra layer of excitement for all the classes. The air-conditioned, multipurpose Auditorium on the first floor provides an elegant, functional and versatile space for assemblies, concerts, lectures and gatherings of all kinds, as well as for a variety of indoor games. The school auditorium is equipped with AC facility with high-end KYAN projector.Performances in the school hall are brought to life by a cutting edge sound system and is used for a wide variety of purposes including competitions, examinations and co-curricular activities.

LIBRARY

Our library has a wide collection of new and interesting books that are updated regularly. This facility allows children internet browsing and educational CD’s as well. To provide hassle free connectivity our premises is fully Wi-Fi enabled.

COMPUTER LABORATORIES

Our computer laboratory is the right place for children to become technologically savy. We have made adequate provisions so that every child will always have a dedicated computer to work on. Children use it to complete their assignments, projects and learn new applications.

SCIENCE LABORATORIES

To ensure undivided attention, we have separate laboratories for each of the three sciences i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Our laboratories will feature new age design. All students face the demonstration table as well as the projection screen.

SAFETY FIRST

On every floor fire extinguishers are installed. Our staff is trained regularly to handle any potentially dangerous situation. Fire evacuation drills are also carried out for the students with the help of fire fighting professionals. The school has outlined a ‘Child Protection Policy’ that is practiced and followed in the true spirit. All washrooms are monitored by lady attendants only. As we strongly believe in an inclusive philosophy our facilities are designed to meet the requirements of children with special needs.

CCTV SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM

All public areas such as corridors, staircases, gates and grounds are under CCTV surveillance.

BEST TRANSPORT FACILITY

Our school has best transport fleet of buses. The children are very safely transported from their home to school and back.

FOOD SERVICES

As part of our policy we do not serve junk food or aerated drinks, instead our aim is to serve healthy meals created by a nutritionist for our students. The canteen personnel are kept informed regularly by way of workshops on hygienic cooking methods conducted by a qualified doctor.

HEALTH CHECK-UPS

Medical check-ups of students are done regularly.

HAND SANITIZERS

In a revolutionary & innovative move, Universal has begun installing hand sanitizer dispensers at strategic locations. Almost all the germs on hands are infectious. In order to prevent diseases from spreading, it is important to keep hands free of germs.

PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM

Our Public Address system is used to make announcements, signal commencement/end of important periods & emergency notifications.

PLAY ZONE

This space has a wave slide, jungle gym, multi climbers and a plunge pool for the young ones. It is said that this space has the greatest numbers of smiles per square feet.
